Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and other cargo across various job sites and routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload freight such as construction materials, hazardous goods, or debris using appropriate truck loading techniques.
- Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely delivery across diverse routes including flatbed, tanker, or refrigerated trailer transports.
- Comply with hazardous materials regulations when handling dangerous goods or hazardous substances, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Perform routine inspections of trucks before and after trips; conduct manual handling tasks for cargo loading/unloading and basic maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, route information, and delivery documentation in accordance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries, report issues, and ensure smooth logistics operations.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the role such as Hazmat or Tanker certification preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with tractor-trailers or flatbed trucks.
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazard materials regulations, DOT compliance, and safety standards for hazardous goods transportation.
- Demonstrated ability to operate refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized trailers as needed.
- Excellent manual handling skills for load & unload tasks; familiarity with logistics cargo handling procedures.
- Experience with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning on OTR routes.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and accuracy standards.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
