American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Case Management position in Asheville, NC, requiring 2+ years of experience and proficiency with Cerner in a large, award-winning hospital setting.

Position is based in the Care Management department of a large 815-bed hospital in Asheville, NC

Caseload ratio of 1:40

Documentation systems include Cerner, NATE, and Ensocare (post-acute)

Shift hours are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Self-scheduling available

Floating required where needed across all units

13-week contract

Active NC or Compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of recent RN Case Management experience required

Proficiency in Cerner, NATE, and Ensocare post-acute documentation systems

Strong documentation and communication skills required

Demonstrated ability to multitask and shift attention between competing priorities

Ability to build trust with team members, patients, and families

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required

Business attire is the required dress code — scrubs are not worn in this role

Works collaboratively with RN Case Managers across all units

The facility is a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and includes a Level III NICU and children's hospital

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
