We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Clerk with experience in accounting, claims processing, financial records, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have strong data-entry, reconciliation, documentation, and customer-service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and review accounts, claims, invoices, payments, and related financial documents.
- Verify claim information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate accounting and claims records.
- Perform data entry and update information in internal systems and databases.
- Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Review supporting documentation and follow up on missing or incorrect information.
- Respond to inquiries regarding account balances, payments, and claim status.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other financial documentation.
- Maintain confidential records and ensure accurate filing and recordkeeping.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, claimants, and internal departments as needed.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Accounts Clerk, Accounting Clerk, Claims Clerk, Claims Processor, or similar role.
- Experience with accounts and claims processing is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
- Strong data-entry and Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional accounting or business education is preferred.
Schedule: Full-time
Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour
