Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Grocery Merchandiser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper display and stocking of grocery products within retail stores. Your efforts will help enhance the shopping experience for customers and maintain the store’s visual standards. The ideal candidate will have retail store experience, be comfortable with material handling, and possess a strong work ethic to support efficient store operations.
Duties
- Stock and replenish grocery items according to planograms to ensure optimal product placement and presentation.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, including lifting heavy loads and managing stock movement within the store.
- Use planograms to arrange products accurately, maintaining consistency across displays.
- Drive a 16ft box truck with a lift gate to deliver supplies and stock to various retail locations.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move merchandise and supplies efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of stock areas, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with store staff to ensure timely product availability and display updates.
Requirements
- Prior retail store experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and pricing adjustments.
- Experience operating material handling equipment safely, including lift gates and other tools.
- Familiarity with planograms and visual merchandising standards.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly throughout shifts.
- Valid driver’s license with experience driving a 16ft box truck with a lift gate is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and good communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Pay: $500.00 per week
