About the Role:
As an Admission Coordinator at Ellen Memorial Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating the admission process for new patients, including verifying insurance coverage and completing necessary paperwork
Collaborating with healthcare providers, families, and patients to ensure a smooth transition into our care
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and reports
Providing excellent customer service and support to patients and their families
Identifying and addressing potential treatment delays or barriers
Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the admission process from initial referral to patient arrival
Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and authorization for services
Complete necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a smooth transition into our care
Identify and address potential treatment delays or barriers
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction
