We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse associate and Shipping Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a forklift-certified individual with strong experience in palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and customer service. You’ll be responsible for picking cabinet orders, staging and securing pallets, assisting customer pickups, and loading outbound trucks efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Order Picking: Pick cabinet orders based on pick tickets.
- Palletizing: Organize items neatly on pallets, shrink-wrap and/or strap them for secure transit.
- Loading/Unloading: Safely load completed pallets into box trucks or trailers for delivery or customer pickup.
- Customer Pickups: Greet and assist walk-in customers picking up orders, verify paperwork, and load items into their vehicles.
- Inventory Accuracy: Ensure proper labeling and staging in designated zones (shipping, pickup, assembly).
- Safety & Cleanliness: Follow company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification (required)
- 1+ years warehouse experience with order picking, pallet wrapping, and truck loading
- Familiarity with shipping processes and basic paperwork handling
- Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required
