Job Summary
The Clinical Support Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, performance, and development of the Medical Assistant team across all clinic locations. This leadership role focuses on staffing, training, workflow optimization, accountability, and operational consistency to ensure an exceptional patient and employee experience.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, solutions-oriented, and capable of leading teams in a fast-paced urgent care environment while supporting organizational growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Staffing
- Oversee all Medical Assistants across clinic locations
Operations & Workflow Management
- Monitor workflows and clinic operations to ensure efficiency and consistency across all locations
- Identify opportunities to improve patient flow, communication, and operational effectiveness
- Develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies and procedures
- Assist with inventory oversight and supply management across clinics
- Support leadership in maintaining streamlined clinic operations and high patient satisfaction
Growth & Clinic Expansion
- Assist with the planning and operational setup of new clinic locations
- Support onboarding and training processes related to clinic expansion
- Help standardize workflows and operational expectations across all sites
Meetings, Reporting & Communication
- Create presentations, training materials, and slide decks for department initiatives and meetings
- Lead monthly Medical Assistant department meetings
- Participate in weekly management meetings and collaborate with organizational leadership
- Communicate updates, expectations, and process improvements effectively to staff
Performance & Accountability
- Monitor and report on key operational and performance metrics
- Ensure adherence to company policies, workflows, and standards
- Hold team members accountable to attendance, professionalism, and performance expectations
- Prepare and conduct employee performance evaluations
- Assist leadership in driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Work a minimum of 1-2 shifts per week as a Medical Assistant
- Lead recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training efforts for the MA department
- Create monthly schedules for each clinic to ensure appropriate staffing coverage
- Address staffing gaps and operational needs in a timely manner
- Provide coaching, support, accountability, and performance feedback to team
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous healthcare leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience managing Medical Assistants or clinical support staff strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Proficiency with scheduling systems, Microsoft Office and presentation software
- Experience in urgent care or multi-site healthcare operations preferred

Work Environment:
This position requires travel between clinic locations and active involvement in clinic operations as needed. The schedule may include weekdays and weekends, with varying shift lengths including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts based on operational needs.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
