Duties
- Assist with the interpretation of construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning heavy materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate power tools and construction equipment, including drills, saws, and compactors, maintaining proper safety procedures at all times.
- Conduct erosion control measures to protect sites from environmental impact, including installing silt fences and sediment barriers.
- Follow all workplace safety regulations, including implementation of OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection protocols, and climbing safety procedures.
- Support equipment repair and maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation of tools and machinery.
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks while adhering strictly to safety guidelines for manual handling and mechanical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Proven industrial construction experience with a solid understanding of construction workplace safety regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of erosion control techniques and environmental protection practices on construction sites.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing, and manual handling tasks throughout the workday.

Pay: $25.72 - $30.97 per hour
