Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Scribe in Hematology/ Oncology, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of clinical documentation. Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe detailed notes during patient examinations, including history, physical exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Utilize EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to input and update patient information efficiently and securely.
- Assist healthcare providers by documenting medical terminology clearly and precisely during patient interactions.
- Maintain organized and complete medical records in accordance with legal and institutional standards.
- Support the clinical team by managing documentation workflows, ensuring timely updates of patient charts.
- Review and verify the accuracy of medical records for completeness and consistency.
- Collaborate with medical staff to improve documentation processes and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is preferable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret and transcribe clinical information.
- Experience handling and organizing medical records with attention to detail.
- Excellent listening skills combined with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
