We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Training manager to join our retail management team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in retail sales and team management. As a Sales Training Manager , you will play a pivotal role in driving sales performance, managing store operations, and developing staff to ensure exceptional customer experience. Duties
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and store sales goals through effective coaching and support.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and stock replenishment.
- Manage customer relations by providing outstanding service.
- Conduct employee orientation, training, and development to enhance team skills and product knowledge.
- Assist with recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates and participating in onboarding processes.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and communication with the buying team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Support shift management duties by scheduling staff coverage and overseeing daily tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales management or supervisory roles with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques such as upselling, and customer service excellence.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with inventory control systems, POS technology and merchandising.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with employee orientation, training & development.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, manage shifts, and lead teams effectively.
- Previous assistant manager or managerial experience in retail.
