Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Barback to join our team on Chouteau Ave. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, supports bartenders seamlessly, and helps maintain the energy, organization, and cleanliness that keeps the bar running at its best. This position is the backbone of the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Restock and replenish spirits, beer, wine, mixers, ice, and garnishes throughout service.
- Maintain bar cleanliness, including glassware, tools, surfaces, and trash removal.
- Assist bartenders in preparing garnishes, syrups, and prep items before and during shifts.
- Collect and wash glassware quickly and efficiently.
- Keep storage areas and coolers organized and stocked.
- Anticipate needs of bartenders to ensure smooth, uninterrupted service.
- Support closing and opening duties, including setup and breakdown.
- Uphold safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous barback, bar, or restaurant support experience preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on your feet for long shifts.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and late nights.
