Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge along with the ability to drive various types of tow trucks, including flatbed models. This role requires excellent conflict management skills and the capability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and care.
Duties
- Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport vehicles to designated locations and to perform jump starting and unlocking vehicles.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure optimal performance.
- Load and unload vehicles using appropriate techniques to prevent damage.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients in distress and addressing their needs effectively.
- Manage conflicts calmly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction during stressful situations.
- Maintain accurate records of towing operations, including vehicle details and service provided.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Tow Truck Driver Required with valid TDLR License)
- Strong mechanical knowledge preferred
- Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is required.
- Familiarity with flatbed towing operations required
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle various customer interactions effectively.
- Ability to perform jump starting and unlocking vehicles. Also, must be able to install a customer's spare tire.
