Job Summary
Team LLC is seeking qualified and compassionate QMHPs (Qualified Mental Health Professionals) to join our Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) team.
MCR staff provide rapid, in-person crisis intervention and stabilization services to individuals experiencing acute behavioral health crises in the community. The goal is to prevent unnecessary hospitalizations, promote safety, and connect individuals to appropriate ongoing supports.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in crisis de-escalation, risk assessment, and therapeutic intervention, with a commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed care.
Key ResponsibilitiesCrisis Response
- Provide on-site and community-based crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing behavioral health or psychiatric emergencies.
- Conduct clinical assessments, risk evaluations, and safety planning to determine level of care needs.
- De-escalate crises using evidence-based and trauma-informed strategies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, hospitals, and community service boards when necessary to ensure client safety and care continuity.
Clinical Services
- QMHPs: Deliver direct support and therapeutic interventions under supervision of an LMHP.
- Develop individualized crisis stabilization and recovery plans that promote resilience and prevent relapse.
- Coordinate referrals and warm hand-offs to ongoing outpatient, residential, or community-based services.
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) in compliance with DBHDS and DMAS requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.
- Participate in program audits, data tracking, and quality improvement initiatives.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with other MCR staff, including peers, nurses, and clinical supervisors.
- Attend required supervision, training, and team meetings.
- Communicate effectively with partner agencies and family supports to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
QualificationsFor QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional):
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- DBHDS-approved QMHP-A or QMHP-C credential required.
- At least 1 year of experience in crisis services, case management, or mental health direct care preferred.
- Strong communication and crisis de-escalation skills.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to respond to crisis calls within required timeframes (on-call rotation may apply).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and crisis documentation.
- Commitment to trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and culturally responsive care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour
