Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various settings, and possess strong clinical skills to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves working with diverse patient populations, including children and seniors, and may include responsibilities related to airway management.
Duties

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.

Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring patient responses.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

Utilize electronic health record systems such as Meditech for documentation purposes.

Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols within the clinical environment.

Maintain accurate records of patient care activities, including MDS documentation for senior care patients.
Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

Experience in Medsurg, ER, and skilled care is preferred.

Strong knowledge of airway management techniques.

Experience working with children or senior populations is highly desirable.

Proficient in using electronic health record systems; experience with Meditech is advantageous.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

IV certification along with ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
