Job Summary
Interprets, formulates, or oversees contracts for assigned area. Follows policies, procedures, methods, operating practices, and performance standards set forth by management. Facilitates effective implementation of contract responsibilities within program objectives and requirements. Reviews and assists in the resolution of issues affecting company compliance and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements, company, and customer objectives. Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
Essential Functions
- Create, prepare, review and edit assigned contracts.
- Provide advice and guidance to junior contracts team members.
- Ensures that contract documents are accurate and appropriately maintained according to internal policies/procedures and compliance standards.
- Identify savings, risk mitigation and operational efficiencies through the use and development of contracts.
- Analyze contract performance, identify arears for improvement, and implement changes to enhance overall contract performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contract terms align with company goals and strategies.
- Seek opportunities to consolidate vendors, lower costs and improve operation efficiency.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in finance, healthcare administration or related field of study required
Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
