Duties
- Handle all cash transactions accurately and efficiently at the register, ensuring proper change and receipt issuance
- Greet guests warmly as they approach the checkout area, providing excellent customer service and guest support
- Manage guest inquiries with confidence, offering assistance with questions about products, services, or facility amenities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station to ensure a welcoming environment for guests
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift, preparing reports and deposits as required
- Assist in resolving minor conflicts or guest concerns promptly and professionally to uphold a positive atmosphere
- Support other team members during busy periods by stepping in to manage additional responsibilities as needed
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Proven experience in cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems operation
- Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism and composure
- Experience in events management or coordinating guest activities is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for public speaking and guest interaction
- Background in food service or hospitality environments enhances your ability to serve diverse guests
