The Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to act as the primary liaison between our manufacturing plant, sales teams, and customer. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end order cycle, track production statuses, and resolve logistics delays. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical aptitude, excels at cross-departmental coordination, and thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process complex customer orders, sample requests, and custom specifications accurately.
- Interface between clients, production schedulers, and shipping teams to track lead times.
- Provide proactive updates to customers regarding production timelines and delivery schedules.
- Generate accurate price quotes and verify product availability using our ERP system.
- Maintain detailed client accounts, order histories, and pricing contracts in our database.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: [2–3+ years] in customer service, ideally within manufacturing, distribution, or logistics.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency with ERP/MRP software (e.g., QAD) and MS Excel.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills to translate technical plant data into clear client updates.
- Problem Solving: Ability to handle high-pressure supply chain disruptions and find fast solutions.
- Education: High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Schedule: 8 am to 4 pm Monday - Friday
