Rowland is a Florida state licensed Utility Contractor specializing in water, sewer, and drainage construction and manhole rehabilitation for state and local governments. Honesty, integrity, and hard work are the pillars on which Rowland was founded 39 years ago. Rowland is seeking a dependable CDL Truck Driver to transport materials to and from specified destinations with a capacity of more than 3 tons.
Position: CDL Truck Driver
Location: Pinellas Park, FL
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Drives truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in area.
- You may be required to change trucks throughout the day based on crew needs, including hauling equipment or materials between job sites.
- Loading and unloading material and/or heavy equipment.
- Prepare receipts and delivery tickets for material hauled as needed.
- Responsible for securing cargo during transit.
- Inspects truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
- Fuels truck and adds oil or water as needed, receives and turns in tickets for same.
- Perform or assist in the performance of emergency roadside repairs.
- May be required to drive machines or other types of trucks on a temporary basis.
- May be required to occasionally perform normal laborer tasks.
Experience:
- Must posse a valid class “A” Commercial Driver’s License and with truck-driving experience.
- HazMat Endorsement (Preferred).
- Low boy experience is a plus.
- Ability to load and unload various types of heavy equipment used in the construction industry on to and off a lowboy trailer.

Schedule: Monday through Friday at least 40hrs per week
