What You'll Do
- Estimate plumbing projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other project documents
- Visit local job sites to assess project scope and confirm accurate estimates
- Work directly with clients, contractors, and suppliers to gather pricing information
- Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and overhead
- Support contract and proposal negotiations with clients and subcontractors
What We're Looking For
- A Pre-Construction Project Manager to attend job walks, perform quantity take-offs, prepare material submittals for specific projects, etc.
- Estimating experience in plumbing or a closely related trade — we'll also consider experienced service or journeyman plumbers ready to move into an estimating role
- Solid knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation methods
- Comfortable reading blueprints, specs, and technical drawings
- Strong analytical/math skills for accurate cost estimation
- Clear communicator who can negotiate confidently with clients and suppliers
- Someone capable of handling all preconstruction activities and produce comprehensive bid proposals for residential and commercial plumbing projects.
- Experience with ProCore or similar platforms preferred.
