Are you passionate about supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities? We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Residential Lead to oversee the daily operations of a group home in New Jersey. In this vital role, you will provide direct support to the individuals we serve while ensuring a safe, engaging, and person-centered environment. The Residential Lead plays a key part in enhancing the quality of life for each individual, guiding staff, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and support services.
Position Summary:The Residential Lead is responsible for:
· Ensuring proper staffing and clear communication with leadership.
· Providing hands-on personal care, including hygiene and toileting support.
· Supporting skill development, independence, and community integration.
· Administering and tracking medications.
· Overseeing shift operations: cleaning, documentation, activities, and transportation.
· Guiding staff in implementing care plans and behavior strategies.
· Maintaining a clean, safe, and home-like environment.
· Monitoring progress and ensuring all documentation is complete.
· Assisting with scheduling and minimizing overtime needs.
· Complying with policies, regulations, and inspections.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Minimum 2 years of managerial experience working with adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
· Must be willing to provide hands-on personal care (including toileting and hygiene assistance).
