Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will (1) teach a minimum of three courses per semester; (2) coordinate counseling operations for the Counseling and Assessment Center, as needed; (3) maintain an advising caseload of graduate and undergraduate students; (4) supervise practicum and internship students; (5) engage in professional research and scholarly activities; (6) pursue involvement in appropriate professional organizations at the national, regional, and/or state levels; and (7) be actively involved in departmental, college, and university committees.
Minimum Education Requirements
Earned doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited program. ABDs with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered.
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements
Demonstrated capability to teach at the graduate-level. Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications
Licensed counselor. Experience working, supervising, and/or directing in a counseling center.
Physical Demands Work Hours Annual Salary $52,616 (Additional pay dependent upon qualifications) Pay Plan Faculty II
