Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Tableau Developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will harness your expertise in business intelligence and data visualization to develop compelling dashboards and reports that drive strategic decision-making. Your technical proficiency and project management skills will ensure seamless integration of data solutions within our clients’ environments, supporting their analytics needs through the entire software development lifecycle.
Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to visualize complex data sets clearly and effectively
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable data visualizations
- Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure accurate and timely data availability for reporting purposes
- Utilize SQL databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, to query, optimize, and troubleshoot data sources
- Implement best practices in database design, query management, and data model development to enhance performance and scalability
- Apply Agile methodologies for project management, ensuring iterative delivery of high-quality BI solutions
- Conduct SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) analysis to support continuous improvement of reporting tools and processes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Tableau dashboard development, data visualization, and reporting tools
- Strong knowledge of SQL programming, including query optimization for SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle
- Familiarity with ETL tools like Talend or Looker for data integration tasks
- Solid understanding of business intelligence concepts, database design, and analytics best practices
- Experience working within Agile environments and managing projects effectively using project management principles
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights for business decision-making
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle analysis (SDLC), data model design, linked data concepts, and reporting/dashboarding tools
Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Harrisburg, PA 17101
