Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Evening Cleaner to join our team and ensure our facilities remain spotless, safe, and welcoming after hours. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet care to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and break areas following health and safety standards.
- Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and manage waste disposal efficiently.
- Dust surfaces, fixtures, windowsills, and furniture to uphold cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Conduct routine inspections of cleaning equipment and supplies; report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Support general facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including light repairs or painting touch-ups.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and supplies; ability to operate cleaning machinery safely.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning routines.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.
