Advanced Manufacturing | Engineering-Focused Career
Interested in engineering but prefer solving real-world manufacturing problems?
This is a hands-on technical role for individuals who enjoy engineering concepts, problem-solving, and precision manufacturing. You don't need an engineering degree, but you should have the curiosity, aptitude, and desire to understand how advanced manufacturing processes work.
Whether you've completed engineering coursework, studied engineering technology, or simply have a strong mechanical aptitude, we'll teach you the science behind advanced PVD coating systems and help you develop into a technical manufacturing professional.

As a Coating Technician, you'll own the coating process from setup to completion while ensuring every job meets our quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate and monitor multiple PVD coating systems.
- Select approved coating recipes and verify process parameters.
- Prepare, fixture, and load precision components for optimal coating performance.
- Monitor coating runs and recognize abnormal process conditions.
- Perform advanced inspections using precision measurement equipment.
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain reactor readiness.
- Mentor Production Associates and support technical training across the shop.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure customer requirements are met.
What We're Looking For
Ideal candidates may have completed coursework in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field. A degree is not required—technical curiosity and a desire to learn are.
- Dependable and committed to showing up every day.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Able to read and follow technical work instructions.
- Positive team players who enjoy helping others succeed.
