At HH Dental in West Covina, we're a busy, patient-focused practice where excellent chairside care and a supportive team go hand in hand. We're looking for a full-time Dental Assistant who takes pride in their work, keeps patients comfortable, and helps our day run smoothly. What You'll Do
- Assist the dentist chairside across general, pediatric, oral surgery, endodontic, and periodontic procedures
- Take and process digital X-rays and 3D scans, following all safety and sterilization protocols
- Set up, break down, and sterilize instruments and operatories to infection-control standards
- Manage patient flow: seat and prepare patients, take vitals, review histories, and explain procedures clearly
- Keep accurate records and schedules in Open Dental
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
What We're Looking For
- Prior dental assisting experience in a clinical setting
- Comfortable taking digital X-rays; California X-ray/radiation safety certification preferred
- Familiarity with Open Dental, or a fast learner willing to pick it up
- Solid grasp of dental terminology, instruments, and infection-control standards
- Friendly, professional communication with patients and teammates
- Reliable, organized, and calm under a busy schedule
