Duties
- Manage classroom activities and ensuring smooth daily operations
- Support children with their daily routines, including transitions, snack times, and outdoor play
- Implement engaging educational activities that promote early childhood education and developmental milestones
- Maintain a safe environment by practicing proper behavior management and child safety protocols, including first aid when necessary
- Support children’s emotional well-being through Christian counseling principles or positive reinforcement strategies
- Help supervise activities, ensuring all children are engaged and supervised at all times
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior and engagement
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages
- Experience working with children in daycare, camp, tutoring, or babysitting roles
- Ability to implement behavior management techniques effectively in diverse settings
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and safety protocols for young children
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with children, parents, and team members
- Passion for working with students and supporting their social-emotional growth through fun and educational experiences
