ARMORED TRUCK OPERATOR DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
POSITION SUMMARY
The Armored Truck Operator supervises the immediate crew of the armored truck while on the established route. As part of their role, they ensure that the crew members perform their respective duties properly, with special emphasis on safety and efficiency during the service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The position of Operator includes the duties listed below, with the understanding that other duties and responsibilities, as well as operational tasks, may be assigned. This list is not exhaustive.
The employee will be responsible for following all procedures outlined in the Employee Manual during the operation of the armored truck and handling of valuables.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Security Guard License
- Firearm License
- Heavy Vehicle Driver's License
- Public Services Commission License
- Full schedule availability
- Writing ability – Good writing with clear and legible characteristics is required. Valuables transport documents require clear and precise writing for proper identification and filing.
- Language skills – The ability to read, analyze, and interpret receipt and delivery documents related to the banking industry and valuables transfer is essential.
- Physical capability – Ability to lift, carry, or move packages weighing approximately 50 pounds; load and unload valuables from the truck; transport or move valuables from the client to the truck (and vice versa); crouch, bend, and possibly remain seated for extended periods while performing the route.
