Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-centered Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. In this vital role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for maintenance and repairs. Your enthusiasm, mechanical knowledge, and exceptional communication skills will ensure a seamless experience for customers while accurately documenting vehicle issues, estimating repairs, and upselling additional services. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and gather detailed information about the issues they are experiencing.
- Utilize estimating software to prepare accurate repair estimates.
- Communicate clearly with clients about recommended services such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, tire service, shocks & struts, transmissions, etc..
- Sell additional recommended maintenance or repair services by highlighting benefits and explaining the importance of recommended work to enhance vehicle longevity and safety.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, track progress, and ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process invoices and payments.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, vehicle history, estimates, and repair orders.
Experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a service technician or familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair procedures.
- Experience using estimating software and tools to prepare detailed repair quotes.
- Knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, oil change procedures, suspension components, tire service, shocks & struts, brake systems, air brakes, and collision repair processes.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and confidently.
- Demonstrated ability in selling needed and recommened services while maintaining integrity and customer trust.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
