Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools to designated areas efficiently and safely
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, and assisting with framing or roofing activities
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Support skilled tradespeople by holding materials in place or providing assistance during installation processes
- Follow safety guidelines diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Maintain cleanliness of the worksite by disposing of waste materials and organizing equipment regularly
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues promptly to supervisors to prevent accidents or delays
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices; prior safety training is a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation to job sites; punctuality is essential for team success
