Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Assistant Manager to join our vibrant team! This energetic leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily store operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive sales growth. As a key team member, you will lead by example, manage staff, and ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently. Your passion for retail management and exceptional communication skills will inspire your team and elevate our brand presence.
This is also a sales position with commission available. You will be an integral part of our sales team for above ground pools, spas, swim spas, etc.
Duties
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling
- Lead, supervise, and motivate retail staff to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets
- Conduct employee orientation, training, coaching, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all visitors
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, sales management tools, inventory management software, and retail math principles
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with effective communication abilities in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate a diverse team
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Strong sales skills
