Responsibilities
- Perform floor cleaning and floor care using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents to ensure spotless surfaces throughout the hotel.
- Assist with general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, and sanitation of guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, and public areas.
- Maintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program
- Handle chemical agents safely by understanding safety data sheets (SDS) and following proper chemical handling procedures to maintain a safe environment.
- Support housekeeping management by organizing supplies, restocking amenities, and managing custodial tasks efficiently.
- Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of linens, furniture, or cleaning supplies while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order and used correctly for optimal results.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to respond effectively during incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest and staff safety at all times.Requirements
- Prior custodial or housekeeping experience within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and hotel housekeeping management practices.
- Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly with a clear understanding of chemical handling procedures and SDS guidelines.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, vacuuming, and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members alike.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all.
- Experience with cleaning equipment operation such as vacuums, buffers, or extractors is advantageous.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
