Johnson Compounding & Wellness is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier/Retail Associate to join our team. This individual will serve as one of the first points of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while creating a welcoming shopping experience. In addition to cashier responsibilities, this role plays an important part in maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean retail environment.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills, pays close attention to detail, and is willing to assist with a variety of daily store operations.
Shift Hours: Variable; 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. (Including 2 Saturdays per month)
Hours of Operation: 9AM – 7PM Monday –Friday, Saturday 9-5
Essential Responsibilities
· Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
· Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
· Answer customer questions and direct them to the appropriate team member when needed.
· Assist customers with locating products and provide basic information on wellness products.
· Maintain an organized, attractive, and fully stocked sales floor.
· Restock shelves and rotate inventory as needed.
· Receive incoming shipments and verify products against packing slips.
· Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory levels.
· Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing and labeling orders.
· Empty trash and recycling throughout the day and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
· Keep checkout counters, retail displays, and common areas neat and presentable.
· Assist with merchandising and seasonal displays.
· Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, safety, and customer service.
· Perform additional duties as assigned to support daily store operations.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
· Experience working in a pharmacy, health food store, or wellness environment is a plus.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and basic office equipment.
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and stock shelves throughout the shift.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as scanning items, unpacking shipments, and organizing merchandise.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
