Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Landscape Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of landscape and grounds maintenance. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage landscape maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of mowing, pruning, tree trimming, planting, and irrigation tasks
- Oversee the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
- Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify areas needing attention or repair, ensuring optimal health and appearance of plants and turf
- Operate or supervise the use of power tools, hand tools, excavators, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Develop maintenance schedules for lawn care, snow plowing during winter months, gardening activities, and tree care operations
- Coordinate with clients or property managers to plan landscaping projects aligned with design specifications and budgets
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations across all landscaping activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance with a strong understanding of landscape management principles
- Mechanical knowledge related to lawn care equipment, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems
- Hands-on experience with landscaping techniques including hardscape construction, tree trimming, mowing, gardening, and snow plowing
- Construction experience preferred for overseeing large-scale projects involving site preparation and installation
- Knowledge of plant health care practices such as pruning, fertilizing, pest control, and soil management
- Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members effectively
