We are seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations, staff development, and compliance with policies and regulations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for:
Providing ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management and clinicians
Developing and achieving nursing department goals and objectives
Implementing and monitoring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice
Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff
Collaborating with department heads to promote positive interdepartmental relations
Assisting in the development and implementation of an accurate and effective documentation system
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
A current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
A current CPR certification
A minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population
A minimum of one (1) year of management experience
Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to facility function
A strong understanding of leading and managing a team
