Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas during busy meal periods to support smooth operations.
- Support food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies or assisting with basic kitchen duties under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly.
- Help set up catering or banquet events by organizing serving ware and ensuring all items are ready for service.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and prevent cross-contamination.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning schedules are maintained during shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with basic cleaning techniques and food safety standards.
