- Coordinate and participate in the activities of chefs and other kitchen personnel engaged in preparing and cooking foods according to recipes and restaurant standards, to ensure efficient and profitable foodservice
- Must be able to work well under pressure and work as a team
- Must be able to communicate needs and utilize down time
- Assist in the presentation and portioning of food according to company standards
- Assist in maintaining inventory
- Must be able to work day and night shift, including weekends
- Must be energetic, enthusiastic, positive, and driven
- Set up and stock assigned cooking stations with necessary ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure food is prepared quickly and accurately during busy service periods
- Properly store food and label items according to kitchen procedures
- Help with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed
