Senior Manager

As we continue to expand our full service accounting firm, we are in need of an experienced Senior Manager/Manager to work closely with our clients to provide high quality professional services delivered in an efficient and timely manner.
Job Details
You will be working closely with business and individual clients on tax compliance, including tax planning and general business consulting. Your role would be focused predominantly on applying tax knowledge and understanding tax issues; meeting with clients and gathering information necessary for filing. This position offers the potential to become a future Partner.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for S-Corps, C-Corps, and Partnerships
- Partner with clients directly to provide proactive tax planning and strategic advice
- Collaborate with and mentor junior team members
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and client service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
Skills
- Ability to handle multiple engagements and maintain client relationships by delivering an excellent level of professional service.
- Tax Audit Experience
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively delegate work as needed
- Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills as well as decision‐making skills
- Capacity to work well in a team environment
- Ability to compose written tax advice
- Capable of effectively developing and maintaining client relationships
- Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat
Education Requirements/Experience:
- Qualified applicants must have seven or more years of public accounting tax experience.
- CPA license preferred (or on the path) or EA 6-7 yrs
- Applied working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and US Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
