Pediatric Homecare LPN — Moyock, NC

Atlantic Homecare Services is hiring a compassionate, clinically confident LPN to provide one-on-one care for a pediatric client in Moyock, North Carolina. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who values continuity of care, hands-on clinical skills, and a close partnership with the child’s family.
Your schedule
- Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM–8:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
About the care
You will support a nonverbal child who uses an eye-tracking communication device. Training will be provided so you can confidently support the child’s communication needs.
Care includes:
- G-tube feedings and care
- Chest vest treatments, cough assist, suctioning, and nebulizer treatments
- Oxygen support as needed
- Total care and assistance with daily routines
- Safe lifting and repositioning of up to 45–50 lbs.
- Frequent floor-to-wheelchair and other transfers; no mechanical lifting device is available in the home
What you’ll do
- Provide skilled, attentive nursing care in accordance with the individualized plan of care
- Administer prescribed medications, feedings, and respiratory treatments
- Monitor respiratory status, oxygen needs, and changes in condition
- Assist with personal care, mobility, transfers, and daily activities
- Use and support the child’s eye-tracking communication device
- Keep clear, timely clinical documentation
- Work closely with the family, Director of Nursing, and care team
What you’ll bring
- Active North Carolina LPN license or active multistate compact LPN license in good standing
- At least one year of licensed nursing experience
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR certification
- Current negative TB/PPD screening or chest X-ray
- Ability to meet required background-screening requirements
- Experience with G-tubes, suctioning, respiratory treatments, and pediatric total care preferred
- Ability to safely lift and reposition up to 45–50 lbs.
