About the Role
As a Lead Non-Destructive Examination Specialist, you will serve as a critical guardian of structural reliability by performing advanced material assessments. You will leverage your technical expertise to identify potential hazards, ensuring that infrastructure meets rigorous safety and quality benchmarks through precise diagnostic testing.
Responsibilities-
Execute comprehensive NDT inspections, utilizing advanced methodologies to verify compliance with industry safety protocols.

Analyze components for material degradation, including fatigue, corrosion, and structural discontinuities.

Manage the calibration and operation of sophisticated testing instrumentation to ensure accurate data acquisition.

Translate complex inspection results into actionable technical reports that guide maintenance and repair strategies.

Partner with cross-functional teams to communicate findings and provide expert recommendations for asset longevity.

Drive operational excellence by refining inspection workflows and adopting emerging diagnostic technologies.

Uphold an uncompromising commitment to field safety and regulatory adherence in diverse work environments.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or equivalent; technical vocational training is highly valued.

Active NDT Level II UT Shear Wave certification.

Proven track record of at least 3 years in NDT, industrial fabrication, or utility maintenance.

Demonstrated proficiency in operating specialized field inspection tools and diagnostic software.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various outdoor climates.

Capacity to manage independent field assignments and maintain high productivity while traveling.

Additional NDT Level II certifications in UT, MT, or PT.

Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential.

Advanced knowledge of structural integrity assessment and corrosion mitigation strategies.

Exceptional technical writing and interpersonal communication abilities.
