Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Lead Environmental Geoprobe Driller to support field and office operations for our Houston, Texas office location. This role will be responsible for completing environmental drilling projects in a safe and efficient manner, while also helping lead a new office and market.
The selected candidate will play an important role in overseeing drilling operations, maintaining equipment, coordinating with vendors, and supervising drilling assistants. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong Geoprobe experience, professionalism, and the ability to manage both field and operational responsibilities.

This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and benefits. Travel may be required based on operational needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead and complete environmental drilling projects in a safe and efficient manner
- Operate Geoprobe 7822 equipment
- Assist with field and office work execution for the Houston office
- Help support and lead a new office and market
- Interact with internal teams, external clients, and vendors in a professional and safe manner
- Maintain pickup trucks, trailers, drill rigs, and related equipment
- Order well supplies and materials from vendors as needed
- Supervise driller assistants, including support with timekeeping, scheduling, and daily work direction
- Ensure job sites, vehicles, tools, and equipment are kept clean and organized
- Follow company safety procedures and ensure proper PPE is used at all times
- Support minor equipment repairs and maintenance as needed
- Maintain accurate and legible field logs and project-related documentation as directed
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 5–10 years of Geoprobe 7822 operating experience
- 1–2 years of operations management experience
- Strong understanding of environmental drilling work
- Ability to lead field crews and support daily operations
- Professional communication skills when working with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel as needed for projects
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work long hours in challenging outdoor conditions
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as kneeling, bending, lifting, and shoveling
- Outdoor fieldwork in various weather and terrain conditions
- Exposure to heavy equipment, noise, dust, and potentially hazardous materials
- Irregular hours may be required, including weekends and extended travel
- Must be comfortable working in a variety of outdoor environments and extreme weather conditions
- Must comply with company safety procedures, including daily safety meetings and required PPE use
