Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks, with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials to boost sales
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Micros POS systems), and billing accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate beverage service during banquets, catering events, or busy nights in the restaurant
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with legal regulations
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and communicating supply needs promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts using strong time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with local laws and regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
