Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Perfume Filling Supervisor to lead our fragrance filling operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant production of high-quality perfume products. As a supervisor, you will oversee daily filling activities, coordinate with various departments, and uphold strict quality and safety standards. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, maintain production schedules, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, all while fostering a motivated and safety-conscious team.
Duties
- Supervise the perfume filling process, ensuring all products are filled accurately and efficiently according to production schedules and quality standards
- Assign staff to various positions and troubleshoot liquid filling machines
- Enforce safety protocols and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards across the production floor to maintain a safe working environment
- Prepare and follow manufacturing batch records, work instructions, and other production documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Supervise material handling activities
- Coordinate with Mechanics and Engineers to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
- Coordinate with Quality Control throughout the filling process to detect defects or deviations from specifications
- Train team members on machine operation, safety procedures, and quality requirements while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Skills
- Proven experience operating industrial machinery in a pharmaceutical or cosmetic manufacturing setting with knowledge of liquid filling processes
- Strong understanding of CGMP, FDA regulations, and legal compliance standards relevant to fragrance or pharmaceutical production
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues quickly and effectively
- Ability to interpret production documents such as batch records, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and work instructions
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to batch sizes, weights, and quantities
- Familiarity with packaging processes for liquids and finished product handling
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence with a focus on accident prevention and hazard mitigation
- Spanish speaking ability a plus as well as experience using material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools safely
Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
