We are seeking a full-time, in-person Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our growing outpatient mental health clinic in Silver Spring.
This role is ideal for a provider who values stability, structure, and meaningful patient care in a well-supported clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Provide medication management and follow-up care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary team
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
Schedule
- Full-time (5 days/week)
- Daytime hours
- No weekends
- In-person only (Silver Spring location)
✅ Qualifications
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Active Maryland RN and NP license (or eligibility)
- DEA license and CDS registration
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Experience with outpatient psychiatry preferred
- Ability to manage a full caseload independently
- Strong documentation and time management skills
- Excellent communication and patient-centered approach
