Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards for fine dining and casual settings
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card payments, and upselling opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation and beverage service, including cocktail mixing and spirits knowledge to enhance guest enjoyment
- Support guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Proven ability to upsell menu items to increase sales while providing genuine recommendations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Food handling certification and understanding of sanitation practices in the food industry
- Previous restaurant or food service experience in fine dining or casual settings preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and strong guest relations abilities
