- Qualifications of the Carpenter:
Finish Carpentry skills
Drywall and taping skills
Skilled in all areas of residential construction
Ability to read blue prints, layout and frame
Basic knowledge of electrical a plus
Basic knowledge of plumbing a plus
Ability to complete tasks while maintaining a positive attitude
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control
- Perform Construction, finished and rough carpentry of residential and commercial properties
- Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews
- Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided
- Manage labor and consumable item usage on assigned projects
- Communicate with Construction project manager and office staff on project progress and issues
Additional Responsibilities:
- Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety
- Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly
- Work with Water and Fire restoration as needed.
Position Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma/GED (preferred)
- At least 1-3 years of experience in carpentry work
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
