Job Summary
Join us at Live Well Farm LLC team as a Farm Stand Sales Representative. At Live Well Farm, we operate multiple farm stand locations from Western to Central New York. Our main hub is located in Waterloo, NY. As a farm Stand Sales Representative you will actively engage with visitors, manage sales transactions, and promote our farm’s offerings through excellent customer service and proactive outreach. Your energy and passion will drive sales growth, foster community relationships, and enhance the overall shopping experience at our farm stand. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your sales skills in a lively outdoor environment while supporting local agriculture.
Responsibilities
- At 1 of the multiple farm stand locations or our future retail farm market store, you would greet visiting customers and provide detailed product information and personalized recommendations to enhance their experience at the stand.
- Manage daily sales transactions accurately using Square software and POS systems, ensuring smooth checkout processes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers, managing accounts to encourage loyalty and repeat sales
- Assist in managing the farm stand’s inventory levels, restocking displays, and ensuring product freshness and presentation standards are met
- Must be able to lift up to 40lb crates full of product multiple times a day.
- Abitlity to stand for most of the shift.
- Must have a valid drivers license. Being comfortable driving a company vehicle anywhere from 10 to 50 miles away from the main location in Waterloo is also preferred.
Experience
- Prior experience in outside sales, retail sales, or business development is highly desirable.
- Farm experience is a plus
