Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen support as needed to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties using POS systems.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, preferably in fine dining or nightlife environments such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy weekend shifts while multitasking efficiently
- Experience with food handling, sanitation protocols, and basic math for accurate billing and transactions
- Familiarity with food industry standards such as food safety, food preparation, serving etiquette, and sanitation practices
- OpenTable or similar reservation management experience is a plus
- Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is advantageous but not required
