Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week)
No on-call requirement

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse to provide specialized, high-acuity care for critically ill pediatric patients. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, manage complex treatment plans, administer critical medications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care in a Level I Trauma facility.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) PA license
- Minimum 2 years of PICU experience
- Level I Trauma experience preferred (3 years preferred)
- Experience with titrating vasoactive medications required
- BLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- Strong critical care assessment and clinical decision-making skills

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill pediatric patients
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor changes in clinical condition
- Administer medications, including titration of vasoactive infusions, according to physician orders
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and hemodynamic status
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Respond rapidly to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Educate and support patients' families throughout the course of care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and evidence-based practices
