J&B Lawn & Landscaping is looking for a dependable and experienced Lawn Care Technician to join our growing team.
We’re specifically looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can eventually be trusted to independently run a lawn route and help lead another technician.

What You’ll Do:
- Operate commercial mowing equipment
- String trim and edge properties
- Blow and clean finished properties
- Follow established lawn routes and property instructions
- Maintain J&B’s quality standards
- Perform basic daily equipment inspections
- Report property or equipment issues
- Help maintain an organized truck and work area
- Treat customer properties professionally and respectfully

What We’re Looking For:
- Lawn-care experience strongly preferred
- Experience operating commercial mowing equipment
- Dependable attendance
- Reliable transportation to our Zachary shop
- Valid driver’s license required for Crew Lead consideration
- Comfortable working outdoors in Louisiana weather
- Able to perform physical work throughout the day
- Good communication
- Coachable and willing to follow company procedures
- Someone we can trust to do the job correctly even when management isn’t watching
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday during normal lawn operations, averaging approximately 35 hours per week during peak season. Fridays/weekends may occasionally be used for weather makeup or additional work.
