Must-Have Requirements
- Experience — Mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Sonography / Echocardiography
- Experience must clearly match the Echo/Cardiac Sonographer specialty.
- BLS — Required
- Current BLS certification
- Ideally verify that it is from an accepted provider if the facility specifies one elsewhere.
- Primary Echocardiography Credential — Must Have
- Candidate must have at least ONE
- of the following:
- RDCS – Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through
ARDMSCCICCICCIAdditional Vascular Credential — RequiredIn addition to the cardiac/echo credential above, candidate must have at least ONE of:
- RCS – Registered Cardiac Sonographer through
- RCCS – Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer through
- ACS – Advanced Cardiac Sonographer through
- RVT – Registered Vascular Technologist through ARDMS
- RVS – Registered Vascular Specialist through CCI
- RS – Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography through ARRT
